Hello, my name is Divya Kaurani. I was born and raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. As someone who is interested in fashion, I was drawn to Marketing, Designing and Creative Design.

I have an undergraduate degree in Fashion Design and graduate degree in Fashion Marketing. Throughout my relevant internships, I have honed many skills as a Plus Size Designer and Sustainability Intern including content creation and website management.

I came to New York City in Fall 2022 with a dream to take a step ahead in the fashion industry. With my MPS in Fashion Marketing from LIM College, and my work experience with The Luxury Marketing Council I am able to extend my experience into the workforce as a hard-working and determined individual.

As a passionate and detail-oriented industry professional, I take forward complex projects with a holistic approach.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Business Development Intern         June 2023 — August 2023

-The Luxury Marketing Council

• Generating contact lists and marketing leads for business development team.

• Content creation for the website and mastering the back end of the site.

• Assisting in the creation and monitoring results for marketing campaigns.

Plus Size Designer and Sustainability Intern       July 2021 — September 2021

-Mamta Industries - Bindi India

• Market research and competitor analysis along with creating format and layout decisions for the website.

• Creating designs for collection pieces and customizing outfits based on client requests and current Plus size trends, as well as incorporating leftover / excess fabrics from the industry in general.

• Fabric and trim selection, as well as garment production supervision. In addition, trend and data analysis, as well as maintaining a weekly design process calendar.

  • WEBSITE & CONTENT CREATION: I've created content and contact list as a Business Development intern as well-organized website layout for brand Bindi India.

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: I've assisted and led in the idea creation, building, and execution of projects such as design process, photoshoots, and backstage fashion events.

  • GRAPHIC DESIGN: I'm experienced in Canva and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I'm also experienced in editing videos for Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok using iMovie and Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • WRITTEN & VERBAL COMMUNICATION: I possess the expert ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively to my team through written and oral presentations (Canva, Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint), written emails, workspace chats, phone, and other media
